Terms of Service

Last updated: July 6, 2026

Safety first. LZCheck is a preflight planning aid, not a substitute for pilot judgment, official weather briefings, or current FAA publications. Verdicts and data may be incomplete, delayed, or wrong. The pilot in command is solely responsible for every flight decision.

1. Agreement

By creating an account or using lzcheck.com (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service and beta status

LZCheck provides weather, terrain, airspace, and related planning information for paramotor and paraglider pilots. The Service is currently in a private beta. Access is granted by invitation or access code, may be limited, changed, suspended, or withdrawn at any time, and features may change without notice.

3. Eligibility and accounts

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

5. Your content

You retain ownership of content you create in the Service (such as saved landing zones and submitted flight data). You grant us a license to store, process, and display it to operate the Service, and to use anonymized, aggregated derivatives (for example, pooled forecast bias corrections) to improve the Service for all users.

6. Aviation data and no warranty

Weather forecasts, observations, terrain analysis, airspace boundaries, TFRs, NOTAMs, and any computed verdicts are provided for planning convenience only. They originate from third-party and public data sources and from models that involve uncertainty. THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR AVAILABILITY. Always consult official sources and evaluate actual conditions before flying.

7. Assumption of risk

Powered paragliding and paragliding are inherently dangerous activities. You acknowledge that you use the Service and make all flight decisions at your own risk, and that no information from the Service reduces your responsibility as pilot in command.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LZCheck and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for personal injury, death, or property damage arising from use of or reliance on the Service. To the extent any liability is not excludable, total aggregate liability is limited to the greater of fifty US dollars ($50) or the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

9. Fees

The beta is currently free of charge. Paid plans may be introduced in the future; pricing and terms will be presented before any charge occurs.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms, for security reasons, or upon discontinuation of the Service. Sections 5 through 8 and 11 through 12 survive termination.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Venue for any dispute lies in the state or federal courts located in Arizona, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be indicated by updating the date above and, for significant changes, by notice in the app. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
